The Kitchen: A place to get cookin’

Chef BrianIt isn’t easy these days to open a lemonade stand. Sure, you may have an amazing secret lemonade recipe, a fantastic sign and willing children to staff it, but there are rules and regulations, licenses to get and other lemonade stands to compete with.

The Kitchen (not to be confused with the restaurant by the same name at Plants of the Southwest) is intended to be a fully stocked, comprehensive, professional commissary kitchen with separate stations where three or four people can work at a time. It is the brainchild of local private chef and culinary entrepreneur Brian Lenius (also known for his catering company, Canyon Vista Cooking).
